Tara is a nature lover, environmental educator and Somatic Practitioner with decades of experience inspiring self-inquiry, education and embodied connections. Having a background as a Yoga Teacher, trained as a herbalist and remedy-making, and a trauma-informed Somatic Practitioner, Tara will expertly guide you through a summer somatic experience to bring you more peace, joy and connection.
Curiosity has always inspired Tara, and shows up in her programs and when working with everyone she comes in contact with. She has led adventure groups in wild and natural places for almost a decade, has developed environmental education program around the sensory experience of plants and nature, and understands the beauty and presence of the natural world. As a Somatic Practitioner, she has created programs that connects and balances our nervous system combined with nature connections, self-inquiry and reflection and body-based practices.
Tara Campbell has a BA in Sociology/Anthropology, a Masters in Environmental Studies with a specialization in Holistic Health, has trauma trained certificates as a Somatic Practitioner with leaders in the field of Somatics with The Embody Lab, and over a decade experience as Yoga Teacher and International Retreat Leader.

Dates and Times, Starting July 7 - 28th, 2026:
Weekly group calls & community calls are combined with individual nature practices that include reflection walks, forest bathing and water reflections, garden explorations, sensory awareness practices, self-inquiry and journaling, movement and sound experiences, somatic and nervous system regulation practices.
The weekly group sessions are 1.5 hour in length. The weekly call will hold space for creating safety and security to explore body-based practices for nervous system regulation. The practices include grounding, orienting, breathing practices and inspire reflection. Every week, one herb will have special attention toward the end of each week that will have a special profile about storytelling, folklore and remedy recipes. Participants will then be guided into self reflective and independent nature experiences for the week.
The group calls on Saturday are optional and will be facilitated by Tara. Participants will be welcome to share their reflections and nature experiences, as well as how they feel progressing through the four-week program so far. Attendance is optional, and may include group shares as well as break out rooms for more personalized communication and sharing.
Three individual somatic sessions are included in this 4-wk program to support each participant to reflect and explore their personal process. Sessions can begin before the session starts and the third session must be booked with a deadline until the end of August. Somatic sessions and through authentic attunement, you can expect to feel seen and held for who you are, and move forward with the steps towards postive change and inner transformation. The sessions works in collabortion with you to uncover parts of yourself that appear as blocks or shadows, igniting a process of self-inquiry to open up opporunities for growth and expansion.
